Results of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Mid-South Region Auditions held Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Germantown Performing Arts Center–
• First prize went to Andrea Trusty, soprano, from Ezel, Kentucky. (Kentucky District) She will advance to the national semi-finals in New York.
• Second prize went to Amanda Woodbury, soprano, from Crestwood, Kentucky. (Middle/East Tennessee District)
• Third prize and the stage presence award went to Reginald Smith, baritone, from Lexington, Kentucky. (Kentucky District)
• Award for best diction went to Jeremiah Johnson, baritone, from Memphis, TN. (West Tennessee/Mississippi District)
