PBS on Wednesday: Dudamel and the LA Philharmonic

PBS’s Great Performances on Wednesday, October 21 (ETPtv at 8:00 p.m.), features the debut of Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel as music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a concert from the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.   The concert will open with the premiere of John Adams’ City Noir. The featured work on the program will be Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 in D Major (“Titan”).
