The Met National Council Grand Finalists

Almost a year ago in this blog, I reviewed The Audition, a documentary film by Susan Froemke on the 2007 Metropolitan Opera National Council Audition Finals. This year there were nine Finalists competing for one of five Grand Finalist prizes. The five Grand Finalists are:

Leah Crocetto, soprano, from Oxford, Connecticut
Lori Guilbeau, soprano, from Golden Meadow, Louisiana
Elliot Madore, baritone, from Toronto, Canada
Nathaniel Peake, tenor, from Humble, Texas
Rachel Willis-Sorensen, soprano, from Washington state
