Review in Metro Pulse: KSO’s All-Beethoven Season Opener

Along with a fascinating feature on Knoxville history and how some physical changes in the city are quite striking (“Same Place, Different City”), this week’s issue of Metro Pulse has my review of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra’s season opening All-Beethoven concerts. Pick up a copy or read it here online.

Curious? That concert included the Coriolan Overture, the Piano Concerto No. 3 (with pianist Alon Goldstein), and the Symphony No. 3 (“Eroica”). Lucas Richman conducted.

As always, thanks for reading.
