2013 Winners: Middle/East TN District Met Opera Auditions

The 2013 Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions for the Middle/East Tennessee district were held on Saturday, January 5, in the James R. Cox Auditorium in Knoxville, Tennessee. The three winners who advance to the Mid-South Region competition in Memphis on January 26th are:

Linda Brimer, soprano, 27, from Knoxville, TN
Mabs Seay, mezzo-soprano, 30, from Northport, AL
Leah Kaye Serr, mezzo-soprano, 28, from Shippensburg, PA

Julianne Grace Park, soprano, 26, from Bloomington, IN
Timothy J. Bruno, lyric bass, 25, from Toledo, OH

The judges for this district competition were Delores Ziegler, Anthony Laciura, and Frederick Burchinal.
